A local of Far North Queensland, Australia, Colin achieved a Diploma of Arts at Townsville College of TAFE in 1984. Since then, Colin worked as a commercial graphic artist specialising in screen printed apparel. In 2012 Colin was the secretary of the Cairns Art Society an in 2014, Colin became the director of White Rock Gallery Café.
